poem

In his imagination
he saw not the velvet robe
he saw not the waxen beings
he giggled
then murmured
then he saw fangs
of the terrible being
the horror came
so he woke and realized it was all his imagination.

Fairy Tale

Once upon a time, there lived a king and a queen. They were walking in the woods.
Then they got lost and didn’t know what to do.
Then an old lady came up to them and said, "Where are you going?"
"To get some bread for a party at the castle," they said.
The old lady gave them some bread and showed them how to get back to the castle.
Everyone went to the party and had fun.

The Frog Prince

Once upon a time, there lived a princess who adored objects made of gold. Her favorite toy in the world was a golden ball.

On hot days, she liked to sit beside an old well in the cool forest, tossing the ball in the air. One day, the ball slipped from her fingers into the well, which was so deep that the princess could not see the bottom.

"Oh dear! I'll never find it!" the princess said, and she began to cry.

Suddenly, a voice called out from below.

"What's the matter, beautiful princess? Why are you crying?"

The princess looked all around but couldn't see anyone.

"Down here, " said the little voice.

The princess looked down and saw a green frog poking its head out of the water.

"Oh, it's only you," she said. "If you must know, I'm upset because my golden ball fell into the well."

"I could get it back for you," said the frog.

"But what will you give me as a reward?"

Whatever you like, frog. How about my pearls and jewels," the princess suggested. "Or perhaps my golden crown?"

"What would I do with a crown?" said the frog.

"But I'll get your ball if you promise I can be your best friend, and come for dinner and sleep over at your house."

All right. You can be my best friend," said the princess. But secretly she thought the frog was talking a whole lot of nonsense.

The frog dove deep into the well and soon returned with the golden ball in its mouth. As soon as the frog dropped the ball at the princess's feet, she grabbed it and ran home, without even a thank you.

"Wait!" called the frog. "I can't run that fast."

But the princess paid no attention to him.

The princess forgot all about the frog, but the next day, as she was eating dinner with her family, she heard something come crawling splish-splash up the marble steps of the castle.

Then a voice called, "Princess, open the door!"

The curious princess ran to open it, but when she saw the frog standing there, all green and dripping, she slammed the door in his face.

The king could tell that something was the matter.

"Has a giant come to get you?" he asked.

"Oh, no, father. It's only an ugly frog," she replied.

"And what does a frog want with you?" asked the king.

As the princess explained, they heard more knocking.

"Let me in, Princess," the frog pleaded.

"Have you forgotten what you promised down by the well?"

" If you made a promise, daughter, you must keep it. Let him in," said the king.

With a long face, the princess opened the door. The frog followed her to the table and said, " Lift me up beside you."

"Don't be ridiculous," the princess said, but her father gave her such a look that she changed her mind.

The chair wasn't high enough so the frog asked to be lifted onto the table. And once there, he said, "Push your plate closer so I can share your dinner."

The princess moved her plate, but it was quite clear she didn't enjoy the rest of her meal. Once the frog had eaten his fill, he said, "I'm tired. Carry me upstairs so I can sleep in your room."

The thought of sharing her room with the cold damp frog so upset the princess that she began to cry again. But the king said, "Be on your way. It's not right to turn your back on someone who helped you when you were in troublees," father," said the princess, and she carefully picked up the frog with two fingers. When she got to her room, she set the frog down in the corner farthest from her bed.

But soon she heard the frog plop down beside her.

"I'm tired, too," said the frog. "Lift me into bed, or I'll tell your father."

So the princess tucked the frog into bed, with his little green head resting on a fluffy pillow.

But when she got back into her bed, she was surprised to hear the frog sobbing quietly.

"What's the matter now, little frog?" she asked.

"All I ever wanted was a friend," the frog replied. "But it's clear you don't like me at all! I might as well go back to the well."

At this, the princess felt very badly indeed.

She sat down on the edge of the frog's bed.

"I'll be your friend," she said, and this time she meant it. Then the princess gave him a kiss goodnight on his small green cheek.

Instantly, the frog was transformed into a very handsome young prince! The princess could not have been more surprised or pleased.

Of course the prince and princess became very good friends indeed. A few years later, they were married and lived happily ever after.

Proposal

A Gangsta Proposal
From preventing our children growing up in a infected environment. They'll be a burden to themselves and their community.
It is a melancholy issue to see young people killing each other. Vandalizing their home and our property. These people think of themselves as protectors of their hood yet if there protectors then why are they setting a bad example by killing each other, and terrorizing each others hood. It makes no sense, our community is infected with  gangs and this infection has grown into a disease.
We can not accept this infestation of gangs. This is not good for our community, it is bringing us down. We need to find a solution for this infection of gangs. Gangs are a disease and they need to be cured.
My intentions are not only for this community but for all the nation. There are many gangs within the US and many more around the world. This disease needs to be cured.
The gang infestation became a problem when kids got involved. The age limited (if there was one)  has dropped. Before it was adults doing the banging then the teens and now the little kids. This is a pathetic attempt by older gang members having  kids to do there dirty work.
But not to worry I have plan to solve this problem. A plan to cure the disease, a plan to end the infection, a chance to bring our community back and maybe even our nation.
Police have identified almost half of men between the ages 21 and 24 as gang members. in Chicago a gang squad officer estimated that Chicago has as many as 120,000 gang members. But in Los Angelas a district attorney estimated that L.A has 1000 gangs and 150,000 gang members.
Now one may believe that gangs and gang members are harmless, well as a member of the community its my humble opinion to say they are dangerous and pose a big threat to our community. The facts are 100% of cities with a population greater than or equal to 250,000 have reported gang activity  and the reports have not been positive.
Now i hope no one will stand up and object my stated proposal.  I hope no one will disagree with my humble facts.
Now i am extremely positive that my plan, that my proposal will will work. my proposal is one that gang bangers will fear. it will be so intense that they'll wish they were dead.
What exactly is my proposal, well my proposal is that the government should supplie each block captain a hand gun to shoot any gang member on site. Here's the catch though one can not kill them, just hurt them. that way they can feel how it is to be terrorized. and once their hurt we put them in a dome and isolate them from the civilised world. But wait one can say that not everyone is a gang banger. just because they look and dress like them, doesn't make them one. Well that's true but, we are still gonna shoot them anyway for trying to be something their not.
And this plan, this proposal will work and will end this infection. this is the cure to the disease.

DUDE 09

One of the goals i have accomplished is i became more involved with the school. This
year i became a member of the Farragut Admirals wrestling team. Along with this goal i also managed to keep my grades up during the wrestling season. This was my first year wrestling at Farragut and i started in November of 2008 and since then i have come a long way. i attend my first wrestling tournament at Kelly high school, i wrestled in the 215lb class . And I came out of that tournament as the fourth place 215lbs champ.

I have learned many lessons in 2008, one of them being  is to never  give up. At the beginning  of my young wrestling career all I could think about is quitting and tell myself that wrestling was not the sport for me. I felt this way because I was just  getting my ass kick in every wrestling match I competed in.  Then one day i was on my computer i found this quote and it just  got to me it  said that we just don't recognize the significant moments in our lives
while there happening. we grew a compilation with ideas, things or people and we take
them for granted and its usually not until that thing is about to be taken away from you
till you realize how wrong you've been that you realize how much you really need it, how much you love it. And dude I stayed in wrestling  and a few weeks later i won my first metal at Kelly high school's tournament.

One of my new years resolutions is to set my mind to things and to quit making excuses and  giving myself reasons why not can't do something i want to do.
