Grendel and Beowulf

one of my favorite part in the story of Grendel is the beginning when it first starts.

a powerful monster, living down in the darkness, growled in pain, impatient as day after day the music rang loud in that hall, the harp's rejoicing call and the poet's clear songs, sung of  the ancient beginning of of us all.

this is one of my favorite parts because the narration is just outstanding.

another favorite part of mine is when one of the people say

so mankind's enemy continued his crimes, killing as often as he could, coming alone, bloodthirsty and horrible.

its like wow what a way to describe someone.

and finally my last favorite part with Grendel and Beowulf    is  when  they say

let them beware, those who are thrust into danger, clutched by trouble, yet can carry no solace in their hearts, cannot hope  to be better! hail to those who will rise to god, drop off their dead bodies and seek our father's peace!

this part is great there is so much emotion and it was said by a great leader.

Chris, I just got your message in my farragut email account. It is best that you email me at the yahoo account; I don't check the school email often. Please, do come see me Monday in the morning.

The writing portion of this blog is pretty good. The selections you picked tell me that you are thinking and connecting with the text, especially your last selection. I don't think any other student picked that one. I too felt the strong emotion.

Please, improve your post by:
1. Adding more of your own reflection. How is the narration outstanding? What sort of picture does the author paint by describing Grendel as alone, bloodthirsty, and horrible? Describe the emotions the author make you feel.

2. Your photos are not visible; Change them and spread them throughout your post.

3. Your links are taking me to google.com...? You need to link to a website that relates to your topic.

Please edit your profile with all of this in mind.

Be cool... holla!

Hey, Chris leaving you a comment on the reading you did in class. That was great, by the way, you were the best one: you had the emotion, the volume, all the words were all clear. You defenately deserve an A. From me you got a 100%
